Review: My Experience at the W Hotel in Seattle

Hey there! Today I want to share my experience staying at the W Hotel in Seattle. Usually, I opt for the Marriott, but with the recent combination of SPG and Marriott, I decided to give the W Hotel a try. Located downtown, it’s conveniently within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Seattle, such as the iconic ferris wheel and Pike Place Market. The beds at the W are incredibly comfortable, perfect for a good night’s sleep after a day of exploring. However, I have to say that the internet here was not the greatest, and I had some trouble using my laser mouse on the glass top desk. Despite these minor inconveniences, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider coming back in the future.

In conclusion, my experience at the W Hotel in Seattle was a positive one overall. Although there were some issues with the internet and the desk, the hotel’s central location and cozy beds made up for it. If you’re planning a visit to Seattle and want to be close to all the action, the W Hotel is a great choice. And remember, stay tuned for more updates on my adventures at the Social Pants Experiment. About the Social Pants Experiment

Welcome to the Social Pants Experiment! My name is Mike Johnston, also known as Big Mike, Mr. Mike, or even Mr. Social Pants. This experiment is all about creating a personal story every day for the next 365 days and posting it online. I live in San Francisco, while my daughter, who I call The Kiddo, lives in Atlanta. Since we don’t get to see each other every day, this experiment allows The Kiddo to have a daily glimpse into my crazy-busy life of work and travel. It may not be interesting to her now, but I believe it will be valuable for her in the future. Along the way, we both hope to learn something new. I also hope that you find this entertaining and become a subscriber. Let’s grow this experiment together! Even if it’s just for The Kiddo to look back on in the years to come, it will give us something to talk about beyond the typical one-word teenage answer of “I don’t know.” I’m not sure where this adventure will take me or how it will end, but I’m excited to have you join me on this journey. Don’t forget to hit the subscribe button and turn on updates to stay notified of the latest exciting adventures. The Social Pants Experiment will be, if nothing else, a fun and entertaining journey.

Why I chose the W Hotel in Seattle

Good morning, everybody! Welcome to the Social Pants Experiment. Today, I want to talk about my experience at the W Hotel in Seattle. Normally, I stay at the Marriott, but this time around, I decided to try out the W Hotel in downtown Seattle.

Proximity to tourist attractions

One of the main reasons I chose the W Hotel in Seattle was its convenient location. If you’re visiting the city, this hotel is within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions. Whether you want to visit the iconic Ferris Wheel, explore Pike Place Market, or indulge in shopping and dining experiences, everything is just a short walk away. The W Hotel’s proximity to these attractions made it an ideal choice for me.

Comfortable beds

When it comes to hotels, comfort is key, and the W Hotel definitely delivered in this department. The beds at the W Hotel are incredibly comfortable, providing a good night’s sleep after a long day of exploring the city. The quality of sleep I had during my stay was definitely a highlight for me.

Internet quality

While the W Hotel exceeded expectations in terms of comfort, I must admit that the internet quality was a bit disappointing. The internet connection was not very reliable, which could be frustrating if you rely on a stable and fast connection for work or leisure. If you need to stay connected during your stay, it’s worth considering this aspect.

Desk setup

As someone who frequently works remotely, the desk setup is an important factor for me when choosing a hotel. Unfortunately, the desk at the W Hotel had a glass top, which didn’t work well with my laser mouse. This could be a minor inconvenience for those who use similar mouse devices. However, it’s worth noting that this is a small issue that didn’t significantly detract from my overall experience at the hotel.

Overall experience at the W Hotel

In general, I really enjoyed my stay at the W Hotel in Seattle. The convenient location, comfortable beds, and overall ambiance made it a great choice for my trip. Despite the minor setbacks with the internet quality and desk setup, I found the hotel to be a pleasant and enjoyable place to stay. If you’re planning a visit to Seattle, the W Hotel is definitely worth considering.
